We offer the following methods of certifying translated documents: notarial certification of the translator's signature and qualifications, translation bureau stamp, or an affidavit (a sworn written statement by the translator confirming the accuracy of the translation). Each option has its own scope and purpose.

Notarial Certification — a notary certifies the translator's signature on the document and their qualifications. This is the most common method of certifying a translation for subsequent submission to government bodies, any other authorities, organisations, courts, both in Ukraine and abroad, when applying for visas and other types of residence permits. Since some countries party to the Hague Convention require a double apostille, notarial certification of the translation is a mandatory step after the first and before affixing the second apostille.

Translation Bureau Stamp — the translation is certified with a special bureau stamp containing the bureau's details, information about the language pair and the details of the person responsible for the translation and their signature. Suitable for internal document workflows of organisations and institutions, submissions to educational institutions, banks and insurance companies.

Affidavit — a sworn written statement by the translator confirming the accuracy of the translation. Required when submitting documents to institutions in certain English-speaking countries (UK, Australia, Canada, etc.).
